Dr Heather Fowler is a clinical research specialist with 30 years experience of clinical research in pharmaceutical and biotech industries, working globally with large and small pharma and biotech companies. Heather started her clinical research career at SmithKline Beecham, moving later to Glaxo and Syntex/Roche. Since 1996 Heather has worked as an independent Clinical Research Consultant, providing core clinical research services and consultancy to companies in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

Heather has a broad knowledge of pharmaceutical product development and an extensive network of contacts within the pharmaceutical industry. She has worked in a wide variety of therapeutic areas, but has a particularly strong background in oncology, immunology and rheumatology.  With over 14 years of experience in biosimilar development, Heather also provides informed consultancy services in the clinical aspects of global biosimilar drug development.
